🎥 ECLipse – Interview with the Principal Investigator
Following the final meeting and industry conference, we are pleased to share one of the short interviews with Prof. Luca Prodi, Principal Investigator of the ECLipse project, who presents the project’s key achievements, impact, and future directions.
ECLipse has developed a portable diagnostic device, similar in size to a smartphone, capable of detecting viruses, bacteria, and parasites with a sensitivity comparable to molecular tests (yet with the simplicity and accessibility of rapid ones). This innovation could revolutionize disease prevention and early diagnosis, from infectious diseases to cancer and neurodegenerative disorders.
The project’s outcomes have recently attracted the attention of several national and regional media outlets, including ANSA, Corriere di Bologna, la Repubblica Bologna, TG7 News, and TRC Bologna, which highlighted the potential of ECLipse to support pandemic preparedness and global health.
⚠️ Unfortunately, the interviews are available only in Italian, but we invite everyone to take a closer look at ECLipse’s scientific journey and the collaborative effort behind it.
